a Provenza è una antica provincia del sud-est della Francia, che si estendeva dalla riva est del Rodano fino a Le Trayas, cittadina situata a 20 km a sud di Cannes. È, insieme alla Linguadoca, l'unica Regione francese che accolse importanti colonie greche e, in assoluto, quella che subì più intensamente il processo di romanizzazione, iniziato fin dalla seconda metà del II secolo aC e protrattosi per ben seicento anni. Culturalmente e storicamente si può anche considerare che i dipartimenti dell'Ardèche (07), della Drôme (26) e del Gard (30) siano provenzali. La Provenza è nota per la lavanda, pianta aromatica che è tradizionalmente coltivata in gran parte del territorio. La Regione costituisce infine una delle grandi mete del turismo internazionale, grazie alla mitezza del suo clima, alla bellezza del suo litorale, al fascino delle sue città d'arte e all'alto livello della sua cucina. I just wanted to clearly point out my opinion on Bastianini. He is my favorittisimmo of all opera singers. I have been quiet about comparing him to other baritones, especially to Mr. Hvorstovsky. At the start, I, too, felt they had similarity. But while I think that Mr. Hvorstovsky possess a beautiful voice and impeccable techniques, he and Bastianini are totally different.
