Mas há também uma razão econômica muito grave, que é principal talvez, que faz com que nós possamos afirmar que a ausência de rodovias federais no Ceará hoje é uma corda no pescoço da economia do nosso Estado. O Governo Cid Gomes faz um monumental esforço para municiar o Ceará das infraestruturas essenciais nos principais modais de transporte. Os Governos Estadual e Federal, com recursos do BNDS, investem 1 bilhão de dólares na transformação Complexo Industrial e Portuário do Pecém. A transformação de um porto equatorial brasileiro de grande calado é estratégico não para o Ceará, mas para o País, na medida em que temos, num cenário para 2014, a ampliação do Canal do Panamá, o que irá valorizar muito a infraestrutura nessas regiões brasileiras. Ecco la sua didascalia: Siamo partiti ad Agosto del 2008 ed il viaggio è durato circa 22 ore poichè per raggiungere l'isola di Mabul, bisogna effettuare uno scalo a Kuala Lumpur poi a Kota Kinabalu ed infine a Tawau. Da qui abbiamo proseguito in autobus fino al porto di Semporna dove ci aspettava una barca veloce che in 45 minuti ha raggiunto l'isola. Abbiamo alloggiato allo Smart Resort dove la semplicità e l'accoglienza di tutto il personale hanno reso il nostro soggiorno indimenticabile. E' senza dubbio il luogo ideale per i subacquei ma anche per chi desiderasse trascorrere una vacanza all'insegna del totale relax. Le condizioni meteo sono state spesso variabili alternando ampie schiarite ad acquazzoni improvvisi; la temperatura si è mantenuta costante intorno ai 30-32 gradi ca. A Kuala Lumpur abbiamo alloggiato all'Hotel Equatorial, un'ottima struttura al centro della città ed a due passi dalle Twin Towers. Per girare la città ci siamo messi d'accordo con un tassista che con circa 70 euro ci ha fatto visitare tutti i luoghi che desideravamo vedere. Vorremmo sottolineare la disponibilità e la gentilezza di tutta la gente del posto che abbiamo incontrato durante questo viaggio.. + Informações

"The local neighborhood of Porto Alegre, is located close to the Contas' river, and we use the river's water in our homes. But the river is drying up and the problems are constant now," he said. As a result of the drought, ranchers have been struggling to feed and water cattle while farmers have been left to watch their crops shrivel into the dusty soil. Forty-two-year-old Jose Oliveira de Sousa, who works at a raft station in the district of Maracas, said many of his colleagues have been left unemployed as a result of the drought. "Everyone is going through a big crisis because of the drought. Our jobs have been taken away from us, from the fishermen to the farmers to the boat and raft operators," he said.
