This is a gameplay footage of Popolocrois Monogatari 1 on Playstation. (Please note that I will not upload the whole game here) This game was released back in 1996 in Japan only. While it did not have 3D graphics, the attention to detail for the animation of the sprites and their expressive reactions was amazing. Popolocrois Monogatari on PSone will always be the definitive Popolocrois game IMO (yes, I like it better than Popolocrois Monogatari 2). Not to say the PSP version was bad, but the original story has been brutally abridged in that remake. This PSone version here starts, not with king Paulo telling Pietro about his mother's condition, no. In fact, he's very reticent to tell him about it. The original story starts with the devil Gamigami attacking the castle of the Popolocrois kingdom on Pietro's birthday.. + Informações

A specific town theme from the 2000 PlayStation game "PopoloCrois Monogatari II", aka "PopoloCrois Story II". This song did not appear on the game's official soundtrack (for whatever reason!), though fans of the PSP game may be familiar with it. Song is sampled directly from the game, and while the quality is relatively good, a lack of hardware resulted in mono sound instead of the game's original stereo. Video is taken from an FMV cutscene near the beginning of the game, encoded to AVI directly from the video file on the game disc. Apologies for the random flashing at the end - the video was ever-so-slightly too short for the song, so I tried to add blank space to the end of it, but... erm... it turned out to be less blank than I thought it was. It provides a fun strobe effect, however, so I figured, what the heck, I might as well leave it. ;) For more unreleased game music (lots of it PopoloCrois!), please check out my other videos. This song did not appear on the game's official soundtrack, nor was it used in the PSP remake, so not many English-speaking Popolo-fans are familiar with it.
