'Daughter' is one of Peter Blegvad's best known songs which was covered by Loudon Wainwright III after he toured with Peter in the 1990s. This version is taken from the 'Choices Under Pressure' album. Peter will be making a rare solo and acoustic appearance at the Aldeburgh Poetry Festival in Suffolk on Saturday 7 November (5.45-6.30pm) - box office 01728 687110. Perhaps best known for his Independent on Sunday comic strip 'Leviathan', Peter is The Poetry Trust's illustrator for 2009 (he's been supplying the visuals for our Festival programme booklet and Poetry Paper) - hence his appearance at The Aldeburgh Poetry Festival this autumn.
