Pestilence is one of the best known and musically most talented old school death metal bands on earth and people have uploaded several songs of theirs from the 2 first albums and the new album... but nothing from Testimony of The Ancients? Youtube has no studio tracks from the Spheres album either (though I can understand why)...but how can everyone ignore THIS? Testimony and Consuming Impulse are easily Pestilence's best work to date! So here's the last track from Testimony Of The Ancients...the song is called Stigmatized and I also added the outro track "In Sorrow" to the end. Testimony Of The Ancients was the first album Pestilence did without Martin Van Drunen. Patrick Mameli took the vocal department on this one and here he started to contemplate his vision of more progressive and jazz influenced material...Pestilence started as a death/thrash metal band but with the second album Consuming Impulse they went more for the death metal side and also took progressive approach to their music. This record however is way more progressive and complex than Malleus Maleficarum or Consuming Impulse and there's many new elements experimented such as excessively used keyboards. There was some keyboards on Consuming Impulse (Suspended Animation) but this record uses them a lot more among the guitars. There's also parts where the guitars go completely silent for they keys to stand out (Presence of the Dead). Anyway as for the vocalist question...as stated before Pestilence have .... + Informações
