Fun little video, more performance driven than storyline. Shot in a cool loft space. Having high ceilings and wide spaces along with nice old textured vertical wooden pillars made for some nice visuals. Heavy use of a Cam-Mate swooping down from the ceiling, past the pillars and across the room. We hung dozens of clear practical bulbs at various heights from the ceiling. Room was lit with cool daylight and then photographed with uncorrected tungsten stock to emulate cold [hence the title of the song]. Since I have a passion for lens flares, we played with stretching some rear-nets onto the lenses [Christian Diorsmy fav!] and it worked pretty nice, except we were moving so fast and had 2 cameras on a lot of the coverage so the rear nets became an issue. I had previously made a set of drop-in net filter frames, so we broke those out. These worked great on everything except for the 8mm fish-eye. That super-wide lens had a tenancy to see the weave and pattern of the netso we simply pulled it when using that piece of glass. Heck, its a music video... 35mm with some mixed in 16mm. Gerry Cummings did a fab job on the Cam-Mate. Gaffer Zach Riggins did a heck of a job and Doug Cribbs was the AC.. + Informações
