From 2011 Hardly Strictly Bluegrass in San Francisco. A new song by Patty Griffin, about her father who recently died. Sadly, some people behind me talked through the whole song, but it's still a very sweet and touching song. As many of you know, my mother and sister died this past summer. This song and Buddy Miller's "Wide River To Cross" on Sunday touched me very much. Happily, on Sunday, I politely told the man talking to my right his voice was carrying and shut up.
