Sarah Dash has had tons of ups and downs in her life, but one thing is for certain: She's a survivor. Born and raised in Trenton, NJ as a preacher's kid, Dash had high dreams and aspirations. Those dreams became reality when she became one of the "Labelles" along side Patti Labelle and Nona Hendryx. The group would travel internationally and change the music landscape with their over the top hair styles and outfits. But after the group's split in 1977, Sarah Dash didn't go away but she faded from the spotlight. In this interview I find out why. I traveled to Trenton, NJ where Ms. Dash has returned to her roots, to have a candid conversation about her life and legacy. As the title of her new hit song proclaims, "She's Still Here."
