From the album "Into the Ice" released in 2002. I got this cd as a present in 2002. "The Music of PARALYSED AGE leads us back to the 80´ies, especially the post-punk and new wave aera. Marked by this style, influenced by a lot of other components like folk and synthie pop PARALYSED AGE are searching for their own oath to modern gothic wave, a sound with a morbid and melancholic charakter. In between the various songtexts you will be confronted with vampires, bats and other "creatures of the night". Descriptiondsof fears and nightmares, but also resumes of the night with dreams and hopes are the lyrical path of PARALYSED AGE. Also the horror story like songtexts contain sorrow with a touch of ironical comments - as you can find at Bram Stoker or Edgar Allan Poe. EAP is the one who still inspires PARALYSED AGE an unknown amount of songtexts because of the gloominess you can find in between these short stories. Este video lo hice pensando en relatar una historia con fotografias, no solo en adornar una cancion con imagenes. La historia es esta: Habia una vez una dama que tenia la particular costumbre de ir cada noche al viejo cementerio y llorar sobre alguna tumba olvidada. Y cierta noche, mas oscura y fria que otras, su clamor lastimero atrajo la atencion de un vampiro que merodeaba los alrededores, quien fue tras ese llanto y le vio. El vampiro le amo con solo mirar su rostro una vez a la escasa luz de una noche sin luna y la dama tambien le amo y le alimento con su sangre, tomando a cambio la inmortalidad. Y asi, desde entonces, cada anochecer, ambos caminaban por el mausoleo cogidos de la mano y su mutua soledad murio........... mas la dama aun tenia llanto en su corazon, y una noche, mientras su amado visitaba el pueblo en busca de alimento, ella volvio a regalar sus lagrimas a una tumba ya sin nombre y todas las estatuas de piedra temblaron, pues la muerte oyo el llanto de la dama y la deseo para si, y le toco el corazon con su mano fria. Cuando el vampiro regreso con sus labios ensangrentados, tambien hubo sangre en sus ojos y mejillas, pues lloro el ahora sobre la cripta de su amada, para quien la tumba sera para siempre........... The grave shall be forever es una de mis canciones favoritas de la banda gotica Paralysed age y me costo demasiado subirla como para que la vean y no dejen comentarios.. + Informações
