Based of the Civil War and the founding of the Juneteenth Holiday... after the Emancipation Proclamation is signed Charles and Ophelia are faced with involvement in the war. Soon after Charles goes off to fight and is sought to be dead, he returns home and before long he and Ophelia are expecting their second child. Ophelia has a nightmare that shes lost Charles again and goes into premature labor.
