Wigstock 1999 The SOULSYSTEM was an American 1990's RnB-dance music group assembled by Robert Clivillés and David Cole of C&C Music Factory. The group featured lead vocals by Michelle Visage, who was formerly a member of another Clivilles & Cole group, Seduction. The SOULSYSTEM produced one hit single, a rap version of a 1978 Bill Withers song "Lovely Day." Their song, titled "It's Gonna Be A Lovely Day," appeared on the 1992 film soundtrack, The Bodyguard. It reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart and peaked at number 34 on the Billboard Hot 100, in 1993. Band members included Gary Michael Wade, Jamal Alicea, Michelle Visage and Octavia Lambertis. Octavia Lambertis went on to pursue a successful solo artist career as Octahvia. Though sometimes referred to as Octavia or Octah'via. Visage went on to become a talk show host, along with RuPaul on the cable channel VH1. Octahvia, (sometimes credited as Octavia or Octah'via) is a female singer from New York City. She has scored a pair of number-ones on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart: as part of the SOULSYSTEM alongside Michelle Visage and Cindy Mizelle when they recorded "It's Gonna Be A Lovely Day" in 1993 and as the featured vocalist on José Nunez's 1998 hit "In My Life" (and the number nine follow up "Hold On" in 1999). She also provided vocals to "Big Love", a number-one US dance hit for Pete Heller, in 1999. Octavia also has two daughters by the name of Alexa (the eldest) and the youngest, Alana.. + Informações
