Ninku is a 2D fighter with 3D backgrounds. The 3D effect is a bit odd at first but you get used to it. You can only move on a 2D plane but sometimes characters are knocked or thrown in a 3D space. I hope that made sense. Anyway, this video features a couple fights against the cpu.. + Informações

Original Air Date: December 30th, 2009 I don't feel like mentioning the backstory behind Ninku, so you can find it at: en.wikipedia.org This game allows you to control several characters from the Ninku manga/anime and travel the world, fighting people in a traditional 2D fighting game style. The mechanics are a little busted...I can mash the buttons and beat the snot out of the CPU because attacks are so rapid, but the game is still pretty fun. It would be awesome if the framerate were smoother, but I guess it couldn't be helped...or could it? Regardless, the game has some very nice backgrounds, but the spritework could've been a bit better. The music is only so-so, though the title theme is pretty nice. The gameplay allows you to charge up power to perform powerful attacks. The more you charge, the more powerful special attacks you can perform. When you charge your power until your special bar (underneath your life bar) turns purple, you can perform a super powerful attack (that looks pretty neat). It's a pretty neat game, especially considering that it's based on a manga/anime (a lot of games based on manga/anime are mediocre), but I personally still prefer MM Power Rangers: The Movie. It also has several characteristics of an RPG and/or adventure game such as picking up items, fighting enemies in somewhat random battles, and gathering information to activate developer "switches" needed to progress further in the game. However, it has a major board game aesthetic governed largely by probability, although each character has different special abilities they can use to level the playing field. Of course, you can land on a variety of tiles with differing functions. The basic concept is that the onigiri tiles (the riceball tiles) bring random good fortune, the smelly fish bones bring random misfortune, the demon tiles are random bad guys and monsters, and the scroll is a training ground to improve your health or magic through physical or mental prowess. His combo is a 3-punch combo with quite possibly the longest delay between each combo input next to Sekirai, and his projectile moves take some time to charge up. He does, however, make up for that deficit with furious close-ranged attacks, and one of his kicking moves is a Benimaru-style kick that hits at least 4 times in lightning-quick succession if it successfuly connects.
