John Spalding wrote this song. Matt Johnson wrote the lyrics. I remember we wrote this song and most of "Short Hand..." In the basement of Johns friends house. He was living with some great folks Tim and Mindy Babb. It was an amazing time. John and I talked about this album a few months before he past. Him and I both concured that "Short Hand Operation", was the best album we ever made together.. + Informações

Singer/guitarist Ryan Sheely and bassist Sean Humeston formed the Christian punk rock group Value Pac while still in high school in 1995. The Orange County, SoCal, band started as "as a joke" and later turned into "an even bigger joke," Sheely would later say. Value Pac's very Christian self-titled debut was released on Tooth and Nail, and was soon followed by Jalapeño on Chordant, which featured more everyday lyrics and a punk-pop sound. In 1998, after drummer Ben Cater left for college and Sheely's mother died, the band broke up. But the following year Sheely and Humeston reunited, went on tour, and joined the Internet-based label Four Door Entertainment. I spend 20 or 25 minutes twice a week, with maybe the 40 minute DVD thrown in now and then (it's not 40 minutes of movement, there is a lot of instruction in between exercises) and I see results. I have no idea why this thing works so quickly. The workouts are not long, there are no high reps and minimal "feeling the burn," so I'm lost, but pleased. It also keeps you interested. The Malibu Pilates DVDs teach you a lot of moves, but I'm now also seeing some of the DVDs and books designed for the original Pilates chair. The movements are endless, which means you won't get bored after two weeks.The fitness handles give you more options. They make some moves more challenging and others easier, so you decide if you want to invest in them or not. You don't have to.The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that I wish the pedals weren't just bars but had real foot pads like on the original chair. Some moves require that you stand on the pedals, and they are hard and unforgiving. If you wuss out and slip off while you're standing on the pedals, you can hurt yourself. Jumped back into box squats, I am now on cycle 2 of the 5/3/1 program, using my max actual 405 done about a month ago, and taking 90% of 405 which is 365 pounds. Training max is 365. Today was 2 sets of 5 reps with 65% and 75% of 365, then the final set I used was 85% and performed as many reps as I could, I was suppose to do 310 today, but I said screw 310 I'm going for 315, so yeah I didn't follow the rules, I just really wanted a redemption set with 315, and beat myself up for not trying to go for 10 reps on my last cycle and only doing 8. Also the way I see it, my max might be higher then 405, I didn't go for 410 or any higher afterward s that day, so I never officially failed on max effort box squat day, and the booklet says you can use a max you think you can get, so I think I can actually get higher then 405, but I am sticking to a 405 max anyways, and figured I just do 315 instead of 310, but I will follow the rules after this week and do 330 and 345 the following weeks, i just really wanted revenge on 315 and to hit 10 reps. My final set was 315, and got 12 reps, I wussed out on 13, on camera I always look like I could get more, but 12 reps felt like hell, physically I didn't feel I could get 13, my 10th and 11th rep I felt like cringing and dying lol, I had trouble walking after this set lol. I also switched back to using a low bar position rather then a high bar position, it was a risk, since I seemed to be stronger with a high bar before, but I took a risk and .... + Informações

Today we went to the farmers market here in Arad, Israel. We had some fun because Zebulin is out of school due to Sukkot holiday coming up. We got about 5 one-gallon ziploc bags full of peaches, a huge bag of tomatoes, 2 huge bags of apples, romaine, celery, and parsley. I talk about being a fatty and sliding on the raw foods diet into cooked foods and foods that are bad for my weight loss. Maintaining is easy on raw, but it is NOT helping me to lose weight. I lose weight and feel better when I eat a high fat diet, but cashews here are really expensive! In the next few days, I will be calorie restricting by eating ONLY green smoothies and fresh juice for the next (however long) until I reach my goal weight of 180 pounds. I am now 242. Just waiting for the juicer and blender to get here! It is now time for me to grow up or shut up. I can't be scared of success anymore and stay fat. I'm over it. The reason why I will not do another 40 day water fast at this time is because I am a wuss and was not called by God to do it. I had a calling the first time and He gave me strength to do it. My attempts at a second water fast failed because He did not command it; I just wanted to do it for my own selfish reasons. Just sayin. A juice and smoothie fast will not be so hard on my body, mind, and spirit and I will still be able to go on bike rides =) Watch my future videos as I will document my weight loss progress and show you some really awesome and tasty raw food recipes.
