Systemic Enzymes, Serrapeptase and Sinusitis 0.78 min. | 0 avaliação | 1713 exibições www.takebackyourhealth.com Due to its inflammatory properties, serrapeptase has been shown in clinical studies to benefit chronic sinusitis sufferers. In this condition, the mucus in patients nasal cavities is thickened and hyper-secreted. This thickening causes mucus to be expelled less frequently. Japanese researchers evaluated the effects of serratia peptidase (30 mg orally for four weeks) on the elasticity and viscosity of the nasal mucus in adult patients with chronic sinusitis. Serratia peptidase reduced the viscosity of the mucus, improving the elimination of broncho-pulmonary secretions. Serrapeptase alters the elasticity of mucus without depleting it. In one study, 140 patients with acute or chronic ear, nose and throat pathologies were evaluated with either a placebo or the active serratia peptidase. Patients taking the serrapeptase experienced a significant reduction in severity of pain, amount of secretion, purulence of secretions, difficulty in swallowing, nasal dysphonia, nasal obstruction, anosmia, and body temperature after three to four days and at the end of treatment. Patients suffering from laryngitis, catarrhal rhinopharyngitis and sinusitis who were treated with serrapeptase experienced a significant and rapid improvement of symptoms after 3-4 days. Physicians assessed efficacy of treatment as excellent or good for 97.3 percent of patients treated with serrapeptase compared with only 21.9 percent of those treated with a placebo. www .... + Informações |

The miracle of respiration (Harun Yahya) 41.75 min. | 4.2727275 avaliação | 825 exibições What do you need most at this very moment? A good education? A good job? A career? Money? Every individual sets out goals that are important to him or her ... Some are short term ... And others long ... Yet not one of these needs is as important as one blessing you possess at every moment ... Breathing ... It has been 39 seconds since this film began. If you had been unable to breathe for 39 seconds ... You would have given up all you owned in order to be able to breathe again ... In another minute or so you would have lost consciousness ... Brain death would follow in another two or three minutes, and your life would be at an end ... You have now taken some 16 breaths since this film began ... You will have taken another 200 or so by the time it ends ... And you will see what a great blessing breathing is and how each one of the systems which allow you to breathe is a great miracle. And you will witness examples of God's art of creation in your body. THE MIRACLE OF BREATHING Breathing ... This process, which seems so simple and which very few people ever think about, is actually the first link in a miracle ... Every cell in our bodies needs the oxygen provided by breathing ... The beating of your heart, the movements of your muscles, cell division, thought ... None of these would be possible without oxygen. One breath is enough for oxygen to enter the body ... A deep breath is of course even more effective ... The oxygen in that breath will quickly reach the lungs, Where .... + Informações |

Furry Kids' Detected With Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) : Featuring Burger and Felix 2.38 min. | 5.0 avaliação | 312 exibições Burger was a stray male cat that was humanely removed from Bandar Utama, Selangor and so was Felix, found in Selayang, Selangor. These 2 rescued stray cats were sent to the vet clinic where both of them were detected with FeLV, a virus that adversely affect the cat's body in many ways and it is the most common cause of cancer in cats. Burger and Felix were humanely removed from the streets and neutered before they were sent to Furry Friends Farm. Although the virus does not survive for a long period of time outside a cat's body, it can be transmitted to other healthy cats through saliva, bite wounds, nasal secretion, during mutual grooming, and also via urine, faeces and milk from infected cats. Therefore, Furry Friends Farm has created a special area for Burger and Felix. Currently they are well settled in the cattery where they are isolated from other healthy cats. We will be monitoring the health and behaviour of both furry kids closely, and provide a complete nutritional, balanced diet to these furry kids to give upon them a second chance to live.. + Informações |

Thepairinja @ Rx 2 (Allergy) 1.70 min. | 0 avaliação | 24 exibições @ Rx: At the Pharmacy 2 (Allergy) In our body, there is a type of cell called "the mast cell". This cell is commonly found at the skin, the bronchi, and the nasal mucosa. Those with allergy have the "sensitive" mast cell. In other words, their mast cell is easily triggered by allergens such as dusts, pollens, seafood, and cool weather. After being stimulated, the cell wall of mast cell will be broken down and there will be secretion of histamine. This chemical is essential in causing allergic symptoms. If histamine binds to its receptor at the skin, a patient will develop an itch. If it goes to the bronchi, there will be bronchospasm and the patient will have difficulty in breathing. Finally, when histamine goes to the nasal mucosa, the patient will have a stuffy and running nose. At the present, there is an antihistamine drug that improves these symptoms. The drug helps stabilize the mast cell wall so that it will not easily secrete histamine. Some patients need to take the drug for one year. For those failing to respond to the drug, they are advised to take Zinc and vitamins C and E.. + Informações |

Allergy 2.93 min. | 5.0 avaliação | 33263 exibições Protein Lounge animations @ www.proteinlounge.com Allergies are abnormal immune responses to allergens like pollen grains, dust, moulds and foodstuffs. The allergens can enter the body through inhalation, ingestion, injection, or external skin contact. Allergens cause abnormal production of immunoglobulin E (IgE), an antibody already present in the body in small amounts. When the antigen makes contact with some part of the body, it is taken up, processed by Antigen Presenting Cell (APC) and presented on a Class II MHC to Helper cells. In the early stages of allergy, a type I hypersensitivity reaction against an allergen, encountered for the first time, causes a response in the T helper cells. These T helper cells produce cytokines which stimulate B-cells to produce large amount of IgE by proliferating IgE producing plasma cells. Secreted IgE circulates in the blood and binds to an IgE-specific receptor on the surface of mast cells and basophils, which are both involved in the acute inflammatory response. The IgE-coated cells, at this stage are sensitized to the allergen. During second exposure, antigen binds to the IgE antibodies on the mast cells. Activated mast cells and basophils undergo degranulation to release histamine and other inflammatory chemical mediators (cytokines, interleukins, leukotrienes, and prostaglandins) from their granules into the surrounding tissue causing several systemic effects, such as Nasal Stuffyness, Sneezing, Runny nose, Watery eyes and .... + Informações |

AMC Int'l News - 'Yellow Dust Causes Colds' is first proven from a medicine perspective 3.85 min. | 5.0 avaliação | 322 exibições So far, many experts have only assumed that Yellow Dust has a bad impact on the respiratory system. However, it has been medically proved that this unwelcomed guest of spring has a direct impact on colds. Cold patients, or those who are vulnerable to colds, should closely watch Yellow Dust. Reporter Han-byeol Park reports the news. In spring, people go out and enjoy outdoor activities. However, children with a weak immune system, and those with allergic or respiratory diseases, need to watch Yellow Dust. Once Yellow Dust passes by, the number of patients with respiratory diseases, such as colds and asthma, dramatically increases. Cho Hwal-kwon, who has been suffering from a cold and rhinitis, has found that the symptoms have gotten worse these days and visited the Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic. Cho Hwal-kwon (53) / Daerim-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu I have had allergic rhinitis for years. Recently, the symptoms like nose blocking and sneezing have gotten worse. I think I have a cold as well. Professor Jang Yong-joo and his Team from the Department of Otorhinolaryngology released its first paper on the impact of Yellow Dust on a cold. According to the publication, Yellow Dust causes cold-like symptoms or aggravates existing cold. Professor Jang's team had nasal epithelial cells exposed to three different methods. 'Yellow Dust particles,' the 'cold virus,' and 'cold virus + Yellow Dust.' According to the experiment, once a cold is caught, inflammatory compounds increased 1.4 times .... + Informações |

Prolactinoma - Pituitary Tumor 0.05 min. | 0 avaliação | 589 exibições Pituitary Tumor - Prolactinoma MRI This MRI was done post-treatment after taking Dostinex (Cabergoline) treatment for three years. While the tumor did not shrink significantly, my prolactin secretion levels stabilized to normal levels. I was lucky enough to have access to a knowledgeable and experienced specialist at MD Anderson who helped me seek alternative treatments rather than surgical removal via a laser through the nasal cavity. The tumor can be seen roughly 2/3 through the video. It looks like a white ball between two black balls. The tumor is on the anterior position of the pituitary gland. If anyone is looking for advice or support dealing with a prolactinoma, please don't hesitate to message me. michellekerkstra.com. + Informações |
