"Without Me" is a hip-hop/rap song by American rapper Eminem. I was told that they had received several calls about this already and that they had no knowledge of the event, nor did their local distributor. They had claimed that the banner using their logo and name was made without their consent. After I pressed the issue further, I was told someone would get back to me in a few days. I missed their call while I was out doing laundry but when I got home I called them back and gave them the reference number they provided for me. Brandon was the one who called me and left a message, but when I called back he was not available so Reise took my call. Despite being promised someone who could speak for the company, I was basically talking to a customer service rep who was reading off a prepared script. This is not an issue of someone grabbing a Budweiser banner and hanging it by the annual Snapperfest event. Rather this was a custom made banner made by professionals. No respectable print shop would knowingly make a banner or sign using a corporate logo without authorization. A professional custom sign shop made this banner. Someone ordered it and paid for it. Budweiser should be more concerned how it's name and logo is used. When you sponsor an event, you are endorsing the event.
