Night Of The Stormrider (1992) Iced Earth's second effort is a concept album with a mystical, horrific story line. It traces the path of a man who is betrayed by religion and turns away from it in anger. The dark forces of nature reach out to this enraged man and use him as their vessel to bring death and destruction to Earth. Through it all, he feels no remorse for his deeds, and upon reaching the end, numbly accepts his fate of eternity in Hell. Musically, the band picked up a new singer and drummer for this album. The singing is a definite improvement from the debut, ranging from a powerful growl to a Halford-like scream. Such skill is necessary to portray the wide range of feeling on this album. There's quite a bit of background keys on this disc, some choral moaning, and a memorable piano outro, which all add to the dark mood. There are also several excellent acoustic passages seamlessly interwoven with the driving guitar riffs. The music meshes perfectly with the story, magnifying the hatred, manic joy, confusion, and sadness present in the lyrics. After listening to this musical masterpiece, one cannot help but to feel some of the sadness and guilt that the Stormrider was unable to feel for himself. Mystical Chain is an action/platformer game based on the Touhou Project, a series of doujin games created by the programmer known by the pseudonym of ZUN. Mystical Chain, rather than being a danmaku shooter is an action/platformer game where you cruise through stages and battle battles of epic proportions. This is a good example of said epicness. Here we are, the secret boss of the game. The game calls it Mystic Record, but if you're a fan of the Touhou series you will instantly recognize her as Alice Margatroid, the puppeteer witch that lives next to Marisa Kirisame in the Forest of Magic. However, she looks... young. That's because Alice is one of the four characters in the series that survived the transition from the PC-98 era to the Windows era, along with Reimu Hakurei, Marisa, and Yuka Kazami. In the original series, Alice was a mere child resident of Makai, presumably created by Shinki, the creator of all Makai. This was just added by the developers yesterday, and this was my first lunatic clear with the true end. Doing this is *hard* since to beat it for the first time you need to have enough points to even unlock the level, which you can do from stage 5-1 if you have some clever chaining. (Thank god I didn't have to fight the Scarlets over and over!) There's a timeskip here on the ice attack, due to me playing it really, really conservatively so it takes about 5 minutes to beat. I had way more trouble then usual on the fire attack, which normally (once I figured out to run behind her) I don't have that much trouble with. The laser spam was a bit of a mixed bag too, but I somehow pull through. Final thoughts: I'm really, really glad they added this level. The final bosses were a little lackluster before, and the game seemed to end on a "meh." note. It's a ton of fun and incredibly tricky, and I can get behind that =). + Informações

Believe it or not, this game DOES have a storyline, but much is left to speculation... from what I know. That's part of the magic of this game. You are given little details and you can interpret the as you see fit. Wish to know what I interpreted out? The witches are looking for something (if you get the bad end, the game tells you they didn't found it). But what are they looking for? This is the third time I uploaded this video. The first and second time failed for some reason. This is the fourth episode of my current series. This boss is also not a Dimension Master. This is one of my most catastrophic creations ever. I didn't bother fixing some of the glitches, so see if you can spot any. Also, this boss is kinda overpowered, and although it doesn't look like it in the first few phases, it will eventually rise in difficulty. Also, I fought this with lv 5 weapons. The battle against the most disliked Alice Margatroid. Let this flame war be a glorious one. Alice Margatroid is the hardest, in my opinion, of the three bosses. Makes sense since she's competing for the best playable character in the game along with Marisa (IMO). Yet she was the quickest I defeated =/ Alice spells plays as next: The first spell is pretty easy, but so is every first spell of the three girls. The second spell is challenging and one slip up or complete ineptitude in the game will hurt you big time. Finally her last spell is perhaps the hardest of three last spell, possibly only beaten by Marisa's. To add salt to the wound, you lack something the other battles have, Alice Margatroid herself. If you're not good at comboing, you don't have Alice natural abilities to help you out. Sure you have an arsenal of powerful, easy to hit spells, but three spells can only last you so long... Anyways, I decided that for my next set of video I'll depart a little from the danmaku genre and the officials works and try my hands on fighting. *Pulls a lab coat, some glasses, and a diagram out of nowhere* Oh wait; I already have all of those... *Throws away labcoat and diagram, but no glasses. I can't see s*** without them* This baby right here is the game Mystical Chain by Lion Heart. Is a fighting game, more or less. Is actually more of an action game to be honest. In the game you go through five areas composed of four incredibly monotonous stages and one awesome boss duel. You can do pretty neat things in the stages, but you must be pretty creative and bold to post them here. Plus have the patience and hard drive to record them all. I got none of those. After the four stages you got to duel some of the girls in Gensokyo. In each duel you must survive the girls' spells, most commonly by beating the hell out of them and cause the spell to break and be captured. Depending on the stage, the girls have a different amount of spells. After you beat each girl, you go to the next area and hope the stages pass fast enough for you to get to the next duel.
