I tried to keep the manga style using just black&white colors and putting the lyric in baloons. I also tried to bind the video with the lyric. This video is a sequel to my Crop Dusting Compilation. With some new footage and new camera work, hopefully everyone will enjoy it! Took some time to get done, but I think it turned out great. "Don't ever say goodbye..." How crazy am I to be vidding these two again again?? All these manips take me HOURS, ugh.....BUT I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! Alright you guys. I could quite literally write a novel about this video. As I made each manip, my brain just automatically wrote a story about that one specific scene and so they actually do all tie together...in my mind, lol XD But the basic plot is the same as my last Sherlock/Amy vid: They were friends, and then she starts disappearing with the Doctor and their relationship goes up and down each time she leaves and then comes back. (one little tidbit that I must share: In my mind, Sherlock is saying "I love you" at 0:10 - 0:11 right as Amy is saying "If 'friend' is the right word..." :) If any of you are really keen, you can try watching it several times so you can get all the manips. There's some really good ones in there if I do say so myself, lol. whilst I stayed with Sifu (master Siow) on my last couple of trips to Malaysia he told me a bit about the new Lion Dance style.. I tried to get some footage but it was very hard.. I also usually make an effort to speak to him in Mandarin but that wasn't going to happen on camera, lol.. I'm sure this style will be developed, Sifu tells me there are 15 teams doing it in Malaysia now and I got to see my Hong Deck brothers practising just before I left to go home to Japan. Episode 21 is mostly in the present, and only focuses on the "main cast" (if there is such a thing in this!), and then there are no more flash backs for pretty much the whole series. So just bare with me, here. It'll all be over soon. ... Is it me, or does it seem like I should be holding a meat cleaver to your neck when I say that last bit? God dammit, the last week of highschool sucked. But believe me, I am still alive. Also, I had to return my new computer D: Only had it for a week. I couldn't get the audio to work through the aux cable, so I sent it back and am awaiting it's replacement/refurbish. Really sucks, I had it all set up, and now I have to do everything again when I get it back. Till then, 6 hour render times when I can't do anything else on the computer! Fantastic. *rolls eyes* Anyways, I finally found some time to sit down, have a battle, record it, edit it, commentate it, and render it. And now upload it. Got all my assignments done, and now it's time for a long summer of regular uploads. When I first became interested (ok, obsessed) with playing the guitar, my parents were not too keen on the idea for fear I would turn into some kind of long-haired burnout (maybe they were right, since I did eventually flirt with long-hair, and some degree of burnout status, in my college years.) I bought my first guitar, a steel-string, acoustic Palmer, with money I earned mowing the lawn. But, the guitar had terribly high action. And, despite my parents springing for a few lessons at the local music shop, I really didn't make any progress for the first year or so. I remember my Dad good-naturedly ribbing me as the guitar sat gathering dust in my room. In junior high, I had the opportunity to choose some elective classes -- one of the options was Beginner Guitar. But, my Mom had other ideas -- and I ended up in Intermediate Piano (I had taken piano lessons for a few years.) But, lo and behold, I showed up on the first day of Intermediate Piano and the teacher said a few magic words that probably changed the course of my life -- "Intermediate Piano is full, would anyone like to volunteer for Beginner Guitar?" My hand shot up like a bolt. The guitars provided in Beginner Guitar had nylon-strings, so they were much easier to play than my Palmer. My brother Kees and I were brought up in a simple neighbourhood in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Note that you hardly see cars in the streets. We are seen coming out of school and various other scenes. Holidays abroad were out of the question. My father, mother and even granny are seen too. But for my brother all of them died long ago, even most of my school mates.
