A banda Mortal Treason foi fundada em Hartselle , Alabama (EUA) e lançou dois álbuns com o selo Flicker Records . Seu primeiro álbum foi intitulado Um Chamado aos Mártires no estilo metalcore. Seu segundo álbum foi intitulado Sunrise Sobre um mar de sangue , que continham elementos de death metal .
