I'm honestly embarrassed by this video. I feel like I spent a long time and didn't even get the message across that I wanted to. The music (all from Majora's Mask) is fabulous but distracting. I insulted Pilot Wings, I game that I actually like, more than once because I couldn't think of the name of a 3DS game I don't like. Hey there guys, so this is a video about my thoughts on Operation Moonfall. You might be able to get an idea of the gist of my stance on it be reading the title maybe, I don't know. For those who don't know, Operation Moonfall is a fan campaign intended to get Nintendo to make Majora's Mask 3D. I've avoided answering questions about it on the Curiosity Shop because, well, initially I didn't realize what it was (knew about fans wanting Majora's Mask 3D but didn't know Operation Moonfall by name), and then when I did I wanted to make this video about it. Majora's Mask is my favorite Zelda game, but I have pretty specific beliefs on when and how a remake should be made. I go into quite a lot of detail with this video, proposing quite a few arguments for my cause and countering popular arguments in support of Operation Moonfall, so hopefully those against and those in favor of Majora's Mask 3D alike will find the video interesting. Intro + gameplay (3:40) Elite clone with trading and combat. Gameplay recorded from the beginning until death. Lots of trading needs to be done, before there's enough money to buy anything useful besides fuel and missiles. It's relatively easy to get into the game and controls, but I found combat a bit difficult with basic weapons. It wasn't easy to get ships into sights without getting hit a lot first. There should be missions to complete later on with large bounty money. Alright guys, sorry this is a little later than I promised but this video is a followup to my last non-mailbag video, I'm Against Operation Moonfall, in which I talked about why, well, I'm against it. I am currently in a production of The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and I have become a huge fan of this channel called TerceTheTirce, who uploaded all of the songs from the original Broadway Cast onto his channel. He apparently used the CD, as it is missing a few songs, notably Ceylon and The Moonfall Quartet. It's not necessary for me to upload every song he did (props to him for doing so), but I've obtained the vinyl Broadway Cast recently, and thought it'd be a good idea to complete the soundtrack by uploading the missing pieces. Operation Moonfall is an ongoing effort to show Nintendo that there is a demand for Majora's Mask to receive the same treatment Ocarina of Time did when being redesigned for the Nintendo 3DS. Operation Moonfall began after a recent Nintendo Power Issue where they interview Eiji Aonuma about Skyward Sword, Majora's Mask 3D, a Zelda Movie and more. If there is enough fan support shown, then Aonuma will consider a remake for Majora's Mask. Please support this cause. * The core Zelda development teams will still be free to work on 3DS and Wii U development as long as Grezzo returns for this remake. * This game will be cheaper and faster to make than OoT3D and MM since the gameplay and graphical structure and content are both already complete. It's just a matter of applying the same makeover to MM that OoT3D already received. * Zelda fans will be looking for something to satisfy them next year while waiting for a new 3DS and Wii U Zelda. Offering another familiar experience in MM3D would be a good way to reward players who purchased and enjoyed OoT3D. * MM has gained a lot of popularity among internet communities in recent years.
