O Perdão de Cristo na Igreja Hoje, meus irmãos, meditemos no grande Sacramento do Perdão, da Confissão. No Símbolo ( ou Credo) dos Apóstolos, nós rezamos: "Creio na remissão dos pecados"...Ámen. Vejamos então como o perdão de Jesus passou para Igreja. O Catecismo da Igreja Católica dos adultos diz: Na Igreja e por meio da Igreja, Cristo continua a salvar o homem. Vamos considerar 3 pontos relativos ao perdão de Jesus: Primeiro Jesus declara que tem o poder de perdoar os pecados. Segundo Jesus praticou solenemente este poder. Terceiro Jesus transmitiu solenemente este poder. Portanto: Jesus tinha sublinhado, e com muita força, que tinha o poder de perdoar os pecados, e queria que este poder lhe fosse reconhecido, mesmo que os fariseus, os doutores da lei, esses teólogos daquele tempo, se escandalizassem. Em Mc 2, 10 lemos: "para que saibais que o Filho do Homem tem o poder sobre a terra de perdoar os pecados, disse ao paralítico: «Levanta-te; toma a tua enxerga e vai para a tua casa.»". Poderíamos dizer que Jesus aqui fez um milagre provocador, espectacular: um paralítico, o tecto descoberto, quatro homens que o levam sobre o telhado e que o fazem descer diante de Jesus e Jesus que faz o milagre... Like its companion film, Know Your Enemy: Japan, the film is a full-length exploration of why one of the two major Axis countries started World War II and what had to be done to keep them from "doing it again". The film opens with scenes of everyday life in Germany, described by narrator Walter Huston. It shows people such as housewives, mailmen, farmers and policemen at work, and notes that these people were not so different than us, and seem like people Americans can understand. Anthony Veiller then interrupts with "Or can we?", as the film then switches to a montage of Nazi concentration camps and piles of dead bodies. The narrator notes that this is not the only time that Germany has unleashed war on the world, stating that while its generation fought the "Nazis", its fathers fought the "Huns" (pejorative term for Germany during World War I), and its grand father remembers the "Prussians". The narrator claims that its was all part of the same German lust for conquest. It was constructed from 1909 to 1916 and houses the appellate court Nuremberg (Oberlandesgericht), the regional court Nuremberg-Fürth (Landgericht), the local court Nuremberg (Amtsgericht) and the public prosecutor's office Nuremberg-Fürth (Staatsanwaltschaft). The building was the location of the Nuremberg Trials that were held in 1945-1949 after World War II for the main Nazi Germany personalities presumed to be still alive. Colonel Burton C. Andrus was both the commandant of Nuremberg Prison (where the prisoners were kept) and Military Officer commanding the garrison protecting the Palace. Among the indicted who made their appearance were Hermann Göring (suicide by potassium cyanide), Rudolf Hess (life internment), Franz von Papen (Vice-Chancellor under Hitler, acquitted), Arthur Seyss-Inquart (Austrian Chancellor, Nazi Commissioner, hanged) and Joachim von Ribbentrop (Foreign Minister, hanged).
