Mexicolas are a three piece rock band from Birmingham, West Midlands, England. The band members are Jamie Evans (Singer/Songwriter), Del Carter (Bassist) and Tim Trotter (Drums). In 2006, they were featured on a documentary series for Channel 4 entitled '4-Play'. The documentary followed the band in their Digbeth warehouse where they record and live together. Also in 2006, the band's music was featured on UK TV soap Hollyoaks. In 2007, Mexicolas released their debut single "Shame", which was followed by a national tour in the UK and the second single "come Clean" which has received praise from many radio stations and was featured in the top 10 songs to listen to to Kerrang magazine. Music from the Mexicolas has been featured in several advertising campaigns, including ads for Nissan and O'Neills. The Mexicolas are signed to independent record label In Exile Records.. + Informações

To be different I decided to record one song outside as an experiment. As you can hear, the drums sound so much better with an open space around them. I recorded this on my drive, which is around 100 yards from where I usually record my videos. As you can imagine, the neighbors did complain! In March 2010, I auditioned for the 'Mexicolas'. Mexicolas were the supporting act for Lifehouse (Smoke&Mirrors Tour) in Shepherd Bush Empire, London 4th of October 2010. They sang 'Times Infinity' Such a beautiful song, and Jamie (The lead Singer) sang his heart out.
