From 27th October 2010, My dad and I went on a 2 hour journey to Wimborne Minster Model Town in Dorset. As we got there, the place was full of miniature town where people could walkthrough as gentle giants! Later, we went inside a room with a Model Layout and lots of rare thomas pictures aswell as a thomas ride. (which is suitable for kids) Soon I've met Christopher Awdry for the very first time, just before the event has already started. As everyone was in line to meet Christopher and getting their thomas items signed by him, I joined in to get 65th Anniversary Edition book signed along with Annual 2011 which is I just bought. As the event went well, I had a brief but good conversations with Christopher, Helen and Robbie about Thomas related discussions. (But at other times, I have to leave them to give them their space or let anyone else to meet Christopher aswell) Later that day, I went to look around at the minature town and was aware that I'm humongous! (No wonder Wimborne Model Town has done a small but realistic town like this!) At the end of the day, My dad came back to collect me for home. We bid our farewells to Christopher, Helen and Robbie, as we left, I wished Christopher a good luck writting stories for the upcoming Railway Series Book. Enjoy! MEET CHRISTOPHER "HAWAII" DAYOAN Credits: IV League, 24VII Danceforce, Boogiezone Breed, Pac Modern alumni Christopher "Hawaii" Dayoan was born and raised in Waipahu, Hawaii. He started dancing at the age of 14 at Hypersquad Dance Company. He was a company member of Senior Hype. With this company he has done two annual shows and competed at Urban Jamm Dance Competition. To further his training, he moved to 24VII Danceforce in 2006 under the direction of Marcelo Pacleb. He then became a part of the Teen/Adult Company. There, he furthered his training in Hip-Hop and started training in Jazz/Contemporary and Ballet. He has worked with notable choreographers/dancers such as Whyley Yoshimura, Mark Kanemura, Laurel Thomson to name a few. He performed at the Miss Hawaii Pageant (2007, 2008, 2010), took role in 6 concert showcases, performed at various professional gigs, and opened for international artists. Being with this company helped him grow into a disciplined dancer with huge respect for the choreographers' and their craft. In fall of 2008, he moved to California and is currently attending California State University, Long Beach. He then became a member of PAC Modern from 2008-2010. Throughout his experiences on PAC Modern he was exposed to the LA dance community he dreamt of being a part of.
