meadows end is a swidisch melodic death metal band really really cool from i choosed th 3'd song The Gloom ThatIs His World from the album Ode To Quietus BIOGRAPHY: Originating from Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, the six man strong death rock constellation Meadows End met the dark of day back in 1997. Mostly evolving from a local Sepultura influenced garage band named Genocide, adding a keyboardist and a sole screamer to the line up quickly led them towards the at the time so insanely popular Gothenburg sound. The aggressive yet melodic keyboard/guitaresque sound has been the cornerstone for Meadows End ever since. After the last release from Meadows End, the four track EP from 2006 titled "Dead Calm Rise", the line-up went through quite a make-over. The singer and the keyboardist at the time decided to take leave and together with their replacements a second guitarist were added. Today the band consists of: ? Johan "The Brute" Brandberg, vocals. ? Jan Dahlberg, guitar. ? Stefan Sjölander, lead guitar. ? Robin Mattsson, keyboards and orchestra. ? Mats Helli, bass. ? Daniel Tiger, drums. Jan and Mats where there from the beginning, adding Daniel during the early first decade of 2000.
