MC Miker G & DJ Sven were a hip hop duo from the Netherlands. The duo consisted of Lucien Witteveen (MC Miker G) and Sven van Veen (DJ Sven). The 1980s saw the two launch "Holiday Rap", a remixed version of Madonna's hit "Holiday", to international success.. + Informações

After the commercial success of Holiday Rap and Celebration Miker and Sven started to gain a bit more free reign in the studio. Play it loud initially a B side shows the boys in full old school flow. www.facebook.com MC MIKER G & DJ SVEN Holiday Rap original demo A crrrrazy story. Martin vd S. (AKA- DVJ SHAFT) hooked up with Sven & Miker G and they rapped on an edit of Madonna's Holiday. This is the original demo which Ben Liebrand used for his new recording. Because in this version the original loop of Madonna is being used and she did not gave permission for using her composition. Breakdancer and rapper MC Miker G (Lucien Witteveen) meets DJ Sven (Sven van Veen). They decide to record a demo called Holiday Rap, based on the Madonna song Holiday. In July the song is released through Dureco and it reaches the number one spot in 34 countries and the top 10 in twelve other countries. At the end of the year their second single Celebration Rap is released. It is less successful than the Holiday Rap, but still reaches the top 10 in over thirty countries and turns gold in The Netherlands. Special thanks to Frits van Swoll. + Informações
