This is the original version for the first single off of Matthew Good's highly successful debut solo album "Avalanche." Rumour has it that Matthew Good thought this version was terrible, and so he fired Ante Kovac (the director)as a result. Matthew Good took over the reigns and released the official video (with all the script and flashing subliminal messages). Ironically enough, the version of Weapon we all know and love won the 2003 Juno Award for Best Music Video -- but the award was handed out to Ante Kovac, not Matthew Good! The video is essentially the same concept as the official version, minus the written script and the flashing subliminal messages. A lot of camera angles were cut out as well.. + Informações

This is the only track I could really get into on "Lights of Endangered Species" released on May 31, 2011. This album just like "Hospital Music" were not albums I enjoyed all that much. I found them too mellow, too drowsy, very much lacking in the energy I came to love about Matthew Good in the first place. That said, even this new Matthew Good album is far more intelligent than anything Nickelback has ever released so... !! I do recommend "Vancouver" from 2009, that is a good album nestled in between 2 not so good albums (in my opinion anyways!)... of course there's always "Underdogs", "The Audio of Being", "Beautiful Midnight", "Avalanche" and "White Light Rock & Roll Review" if you need some good energy!. + Informações
