"I Got It Bad" is a single and track from the 1990 RCA album, "Lying to the Moon", by Matraca Berg. The album was the singer-songwriter's debut album for RCA Nashville and was produced by Josh Leo and Wendy Waldman. The album peaked at #43 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Deana Carter's 1996 recording of "Strawberry Wine" won Berg and co-writer Gary Harrison "Song of the Year" at the 1997 Country Music Association Awards. One of the youngest nominees in it's history, Berg was nominated twice, in 2004 and 2005, for induction into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame; she was inducted in 2008. "I Got It Bad" was written by Matraca Berg and Jim Photoglo and released as a single in 1991 on RCA Nashville. The single peaked at #43 on the Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart.
