I can't believe this was mearly a b-side, what was the Motown music machine thinking? An awesome track. Very unlike most of Marvin's (or for that matter, Motown's) output, this has (to my ears) a rather Jamaican feel to it, almost Ska-like. Written by Marvin Gaye, Barrett Strong and Norman Whitfield, and later covered by, and a massive hit for Paul Young. Another of those I knew I HAD to own as soon as I heard it.. + Informações

PAUL YOUNG (Luton, 17 de janeiro de 1956) é um cantor inglês. Biography Paul Young was born in Luton, Bedfordshire, England. He has an older brother, Mark Young, and a younger sister, Joanne Young.[1] As a youth, after school, he played football for the Vauxhall Motors factory and in his spare time played in several bands as a bass guitarist. The first group for which he became lead singer was Kat Kool & The Kool Kats. In the late 1970s he joined Streetband, who had one Top 20 hit in the UK, with the humorous, novelty track "Toast". The song was notably covered by British singer Paul Young, whose version was a number one song on the UK charts for three weeks in 1983.
