The organizers of the event asked me to compose a special theme for the night. When you play in the big arenas, you need a special type of track in your set to work exclusively for that type of setting. This is why The New World is slightly more techy and upfront. I get inspired seeing wave upon wave of people in these arenas, the sheer volume of the crowd can take your breath away sometimes. So you need to make something that really strikes home with everyone in the arena, whether they are right up at the front or back. But I feel that the track still has my trademark groove and melody. In their own individual right, Markus Schulz and Jochen Miller have produced a multitude of anthems between them over the years. Whether it's The New World or Brace Yourself, or Future Cities to Humanoid, they have rocked thousands of dancefloors and millions of fans worldwide. And with them being long admirers of each other's work, a collaborative effort between the two was inevitable. The opportunity to do just that presented itself at the end of March, following a chaotic period of parties in Markus' hometown for Miami Music Week. Having played together for the sold out Markus Schulz & Friends event at Club Space, Jochen was invited into the Coldharbour studios, where an intense three day session resulted in a future anthem.
