Concertverslag door tbeest 'Het wordt een hele mooie dag vandaag.' Tekst van Erik de Jong, oftewel Spinvis. Natuurlijk wordt het een mooie dag. Spinvis staat in Doornroosje, twee avonden op een rij, strak uitverkocht. Vanavond zal hij die tekst zingen in het laatste nummer van een optreden dat bijna twee uur duurt en aan alle verwachtingen voldoet. Meer zelfs. Een prachtige setlist met -- uiteraard -- een nadruk op het laatste album Tot Ziens, Justine Keller maar ook oude favorieten komen langs, zodat we nog hard kunnen meezingen met nummers als "Ik Wil Alleen Maar Zwemmen" en "Dat Is Het Voordeel Van Video". Nederlands mooiste tekst-kunstenaar heeft ook vanavond weer een heerlijke band meegenomen waarmee een vol Doornroosje inderdaad getrakteerd wordt op een hele mooie avond. Prachtig begin van het optreden van Spinvis wanneer Saartje van Camp een luid kletsende zaal binnen een paar seconden muisstil krijgt met haar prachtige zang, waarna Erik de Jong met zijn akoestische gitaar bijna verstild "De Grote Zon" inzet van het laatste album. Direct kippenvel zoals hij zijn teksten subtiel en als pure poëzie voorgedraagt. Bovendien staat het geluid direct loepzuiver, waardoor alle instrumenten (de hele avond ) perfect te horen zijn in een heerlijke harmonie. Slim om daarna gelijk met het vrolijke "Heel Goed Nieuws" in te zetten waarna de zaal ook direct lekker los wordt gemaakt. Het refrein zal nog lang in mijn hoofd blijven hangen.
