Un premier essai sous le nom de Jérôme Cotta aura permis à Jehro de se trouver musicalement et de délaisser la chanson française dans laquelle il se sentait à l'étroit, pour le reggae et les rythmes latino dans lesquels il se sent à l'aise. He then took part in many albums: Veronica Antico "Les portes du ciel" and Marathonians "A tropical soul adventure" (2003). In 2006, he delivered the opus "Jehro", which sold around 15000 copies and had him nominated for the "Prix Constantin".
