This song was originally written by J.Reid The pictures in this video is of their "famous" 400 mile walk to London from Scotland. The Mark V got signed on with Fontana after getting noticed from their 400 mile walk. Manny Charlton did vocals for this song "Baby What's Wrong" -B side of this record. Manny played the guitar on "Tango"-A side of this record, in his first band known as The Mark V in 1964. Manny would have been 23 years old that year. NOTE: This video or music is not to be confused with early days of Nazareth. This was Manny Charlton's pre- Nazareth history period. This recording is from 1964 way before Manny was ever approached to join the Shadettes The Mark V There was a considerable resistance in London to signing any act from Scotland in the early 1960's and so to publicise the plight of Scottish Bands and their own name in particular, 'The Mark V' marched from Edinburgh to London by way of a demonstration in the manner of the Jarrow Marchers. By the time they reached Market Harborough, Fontana were convinced and signed them but the resulting single 'Baby What's Wrong'/'Tango' Fontana TF 513 (1964) did little to change anything. Incidentally, 'The Mark V' have sometimes been confused with 'The Mark Four' who later became 'The Creation'. In fact both sides of the afore-mentioned single were mistakenly included on a compilation album 'The Mark Four / The Creation (Eva 12005). + Informações

Manny Charlton,former Nazareth guitarist once used to belong to a music group known as The Red Hawks between 1965.-1967 During this time in 1966,Manny Charlton penned his first hit song "Friday Night" with the band. NOTE: This video or music is not to be confused with early days of Nazareth. This was Manny Charlton's pre- Nazareth history period. This recording is from 1966 way before Manny was ever approached to join the Shadettes Note: The Red Hawks name was mis-spelled Red Hawkes by the label company. The picture of the record you see in this video is my own personal record. This is still in mint condition. In the video you will see a picture of the group The Red Hawks,however finding a picture of Manny Charlton during his time with the Red Hawks has proved to be difficult to find. 'The Red Hawks' pictured in the video was taken sometime between 1963 & 1966 and does not have Manny Charlton in it.. Nazareth é uma banda de rock escocesa. Formada na cidade de Dunfermline, nos anos 1960 pelo vocalista Dan McCafferty, o guitarrista Manny Charlton, o baixista Pete Agnew eo baterista Darrell Sweet, a banda teve vários sucessos, entre eles a composição de Felice e Boudleaux Bryant, "Love Hurts", nos anos 1970. Um período difícil Nos anos 80, o sucesso da banda já não era mais o mesmo, mas eles continuaram na estrada, procurando novos caminhos para o grupo. O álbum "2XS", de 1982, trouxe as faixas "Love Leads To Madness" e "Dream On", que marcaram o retorno do Nazareth às rádios do mundo inteiro. A primeira delas, inclusive, foi um grande sucesso da trilha sonora da novela global "Sol de Verão". Porém, nos dois álbuns seguintes (Sound Elixir e The Catch), a banda recebeu fortes críticas, sendo acusada de deixar um pouco de lado o rock and roll e se dedicar a um som mais pop. A balada "Where Are You Now?" foi o único hit deste período conturbado. Billy saiu da banda em 1983 eo Nazareth voltou, assim, ao seu quarteto original. O álbum Cinema (1986) trouxe de volta ao repertório da banda o seu rock competente, mas isso não foi suficiente para resgatar o grande sucesso dos anos 70. Em 1990 foi a vez de Manny Charlton deixar a banda, para dedicar-se à carreira de produtor.
