In 1955, more then 50 years ago, A blues legend started to rise in the US. His name was McKinley Morganfield, but we know him as Muddy Waters. After the initial success of "Hoochie Coochie man", Morganfield kept producing new records. In 1955 he created one of the most remarkable Blues songs in history, which formed a base for further blues and Rock music. The record was called "Manish Boy". 28 years after Manish Boy was released, in 1982, George Thorogood and the Destroyers decided to make their own version of the record, based on the original released in 1955. It was called "Bad to the Bone". Although `Bad to the Bone` received more fame and respect than the original record, it should never be forgotten whom made the original. Thorogood decided to speed up the original, which was highly necessary due the relative slow original. I decided to speed up this record as well, making it faster and more swinging for modern purposes. I'd hope everyone enjoys this old, but high quality record. Born in the family of music lovers, Manish was introduced to music by his mother. Later on he was groomed under the able guidance of Shri VRWaliwadekar of AIR, Indore. He then continued his training under the legendary slide guitar player Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt. Manish is currently under the tutelage of USTAD SHAHID PARVEZ, the famous sitar maestro of Itawa gharana. Manish is an approved artist of AIR and Television and has a Sangeet Visharad degree from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya to his credit. He has been awarded the title 'SURMANI' by Sur Sringar Samsad, Mumbai. He has won the first prize in Yuva Sangeet and Nritya Mahotsava organized by the SCZCC, Nagpur in 1992. Manish has also recorded for an music album 'IN THE HOUSE OF MIRRORS' with the French Music composer Hector Zazou and is also a part of his band 'SWARA'.
