Manic Movement, founded by drummer and composer Olivier Wittenberg, is a Belgian band composed of six musicians: Virginia (vocals), Filip (keyboards, arrangements), Fré (lead guitar), Jérémie (rhythm guitar), Bart (bass) and Ollie (drums). Manic Movement has a long history and created several albums over the years: Discipline (1997), Thousand Sufferings (1999) and Future Dreaming Self (2001), which can be categorized as death metal with grunt vocals. In 2006, they became a female fronted band with more accessible melodies. This period resulted in the release of the album Dark Glitter in January 2009.
