The 150th anniversary Battle of Manassas reenactment in Manassas, VA with 8700 reenactors. All musical credit to Judy Collins, Two Steps From Hell, and Immediate Music. I wish I could've made a much longer video of the event - when will I get a chance to film so many people on the field again? - but due to my position (and the event staff's understandable but irritating lockdown that paralyzed my movements) I was unable to get any really good footage of the action. What you see here is my best. Therefore, I was forced to keep it small, but I hope that this "trailer-esque" video will suffice. I am also one to avoid repeating my material, but despite that I already have a video featuring the Battle Hymn of the Republic, I decided to bring it back for historical purposes. The song, written by Julia Ward Howe - a prominent abolitionist, was inspired by her visit to the Union camp in Washington DC just before the battle of Manassas. 150th Battle Of Bull Run Reenactment - Manassas, Virginia Commemorating the 150th Anniversary of the American Civil War 2011-2015 Also see: PrinceWilliamCounty.com The First Battle of Bull Run, also known as the First Battle of Manassas (the name used by Confederate forces), was fought on July 21, 1861, in Prince William County, Virginia, near the City of Manassas. It was the first major land battle of the American Civil War. Just months after the start of the war at Fort Sumter, the Northern public clamored for a march against the Confederate capital of Richmond, Virginia, which could bring an early end to the war. Yielding to this political pressure, unseasoned Union Army troops under Brig. Gen. Irvin McDowell advanced across Bull Run against the equally unseasoned Confederate Army under Brig. Gen. PGT Beauregard near Manassas Junction. Hey everyone, back with another video from last Sunday: Ryan's helmet cam. This isn't any regular helmet cam though -- this is Ryan's helmet cam footage with his brand new WE G39K assault rifle and WE 4.3 Desert Warrior 1911 pistol. I get some good kills with both guns in this footage. Both guns out-performed my expectations, they are by far the best airsoft guns I've owned yet.. + Informações
