Here it is! A year late...but it's finally here in all it's completeness...the Gripphone!! The Gripphone is the Henshin Device of Magishine. It is a combination of a ticket punch, and a phone. The toy is fully functional ticket punch, even with a little tray to remove the clippings. The phone features a sound for each number 0~9. The toy is actually pretty cool but suffers from some lazy design flaws. The one....HUGE design flaw is the sound holes...or hole. It's small and there is only one of them. You might be able to hear the sounds in my video because I turned the volume waaay up...but in real life it's hard to hear any of the sounds. Plus, the light isn't very bright. Both of these problems were fixed for the Gold Grip Phone [Review coming soon], but by that time it was too late. On the plus side, this toy does look nice next to the Magiphone. Power Rangers Mystic Force saw the Gripphone in spirit as the Solar Cell Morpher. It's...different. Just go for the Gripphone. The Gripphone is probably cheaper anyway. Hands down, the coolest Magiphone. ...I could end my review with that statement but I will go on... The Wolzaphone is the phone belonging to Wolzard. As somewhat of a harbinger, his phone is very similar to the other Magiphones in everyway except for the "W" logo on the lid [and the obvious paint scheme]. While being similar, it is also completely different. The dark spells are pretty cool sounding for one. The color of the light has also been changed from red to an orange [look into the light on the phone lid...it almost looks like there is a face inside of it! Scary]. But sadly, it does boil down to one cold, hard fact: It's still a Magiphone. A toy flawed from design and production. They sure did make it look decent this time around though. So to say farewell to the Magiphones [No Red Magiphone for me], I say this: Good Riddence! [But thanks for the Wolzaphone] Power Rangers Mystic Force did not have a Purple Mystic Morpher. Surprised? Once again it's time to review a toy i'm not entirely interested in and barely qualifies as a Henshin toy. Since this is from Magiranger...you guessed it! It's the Dial Rod! The Dial Rod is [if memory serves me right] the resulting combination of the Magistick and Magiphone. It contains five set spells instead of the endless possibilities the Magiphone presents. The first two dials are for Magibolt attacks [1 is for individual, 2 is for team attack]. Legend Magired uses Dial 3 to become Magi Firebird. The rest of the team uses Dial 4 to become Magi Lion. Finally Dial 5 brings everything together into Magilegend. So how does the toy stack up? It's quite smaller than the prop used in the show...but it's still a fairly decent size compared to something like say...the Bull Riot from Gingaman or the Saiblade from Gekiranger. Like the Magiphones and Wolzaphone, the sounds are a bit muffled thanks to using real voices against cheap speakers. The functions themselves are pretty neat. Pressing the button on the back without dialing a spell makes a hit sound. If you Dial a spell, you have to press the button on the back for the sounds to work. The biggest plus of all on this toy is the detailing. This toy has some excellent scuplting throughout. Power Rangers Mystic Force saw this toy as the Mystic Lion Staff. Aside from being bigger and uglier...Bandai America cut out the best feature of all from the Dial Rod...they got rid of the Dial! That's right...it totally defeats the .... + Informações

The 2000s have so far brought us some decent, solid made Changers for Super Sentai. Bandai dropped the ball big time with this one... I'm sorry if I sound abrupt, but I really can't say much good about this toy. It's sounds are quite annoying, it's lightweight and kinda clunky [in an almost cartoonish manner], and worst of all...it sends a cold reminder of terrible changers of years past; namely the V Changer Brace from Fiveman. *shudder* I will relay this one piece of good news. This is a piece of news that Sentai toy buyers love to hear...ready? ...it's amazingly cheap! I picked up this sealed Magiphone for $8 US. It is the cheapest changer i've ever purchased [with the SP License in a very close second]. If I must say one more thing about this toy is that the straw that broke the Camel's back is the cardboard "chips" for each Mage. They're just...terrible. They're not always punched right and worst off they're just incredibly vulnerable. Bandai America released this toy as the Mystic Morpher in it's Power Rangers: Mystic Force [*ahem* ????? ????] line. From what I gather, the Mystic Morpher is a smaller, ass-backwards version of the Magiphone. Instead of pressing the button for wand mode, the button flips the phone open. They should've combined their efforts so that both toys could do both actions! This phone is one in a series of five phones [plus two more variants] released for Magiranger. Well...here is the second attempt at a Gripphone from Bandai! Let's see how it does... Well, for starters this is the Gold repaint of the Gripphone. It came in a special package with DX Travelion exclusively for Toys R Us. Now...like most people out there who collect Changers, I managed to pick this up sans-Travelion [don't get me started on Magiranger Mecha]. I have to say...this is pretty neat. While I really prefer the Blue color scheme of the standard Grip Phone...this one has something the other lacks... Ready? Spells! Wow! Yeah, I know. And if you're a handy guy [like me] and own a boatload of Gripphones [...like me] you can do a soundcard swap to give the blue Gripphone spells...glorious spells... In anycase...as far as repaints go, this one has something to offer. So in my eyes, it edges out the original by a smidge. Power Rangers Mystic Force has no such Morpher in it's line-up. By the time Magiranger had rolled in, humanoid mecha hadn't been seen in Sentai shows in quite some time. Infact, Gekisou Sentai Carranger was the last series to have a set of humanoid mecha that combined...and that was nine years prior. What I have here is the "Complete" version of Magiking. Included in this set is... 1. Magiphoenix 2. Magigaruda 3. Magimermaid 4. Magifairy 5. Magitaurus The five Majin can combine into two modes. The first mode is Magidragon, which is formed by all of the Majin except Magiphoenix. Magiphoenix can ride on Magidragon's back. The second mode, naturally, is Magiking. Accessories included in this set are Phoenix Sword, Mermaid Lance, Mermaid Shield, Magiranger Ball, and Taurus Axe. What makes this set different from the standard Magiking is beyond the packaging. For starters, the paint job is something to behold. The standard Magiking lacks a ton of detail, yet here we are treated to very carefully painted figures...even the weapons too! Also unique to this set is the Magiranger Ball. Magifairy can be folded up and stored inside the Magiranger Ball. I have to recommend this set over the standard version. Seriously, the standard Magiking looks like garbage compared to the excellent detail this set brings. Packaging, Quality, Detail--all of these get high marks from me. The Silver Magiphone: One of two variants of the Magiphone. This phone belonged to Magimother and the keypad has been modified to feature her logo. Besides that, the paint, and the pattern on the screen...this toy is more or less the same as the standard Magiphone. While i'm not a fan of Magiranger, the Magiphone, or paint variants; I couldn't give this phone a lesser review. Why? I dunno. It's just kinda...there. And this phone can be had for quite cheap aswell. Although any given Power Rangers Morpher has repaints and paint variants, the Silver Magiphone color scheme did not find it's way into the Power Rangers Mystic Force toy line. So the only option here is to import. And if you do that, there will be a size difference in your phones...so you'll probably want a Magiphone too. These are the Soft Vinly Figures but in my Words I like to call them Sentai Hero Figures (SH Figures) that what they are called on the Box but they call it on the Box Sentai Hero Series. As you saw it said Sentai Hero Series on the Top of the Box so I went ahead and Kick Series and did Sentai Hero (AKA SH Figures) that's what I like to call them. Please Pay Attention to those Annotations it's very Important that you do.
