So the big reason as to why I got so many matches on the 27th and so few on the 17th is because of the time of day I tried to go online. I believe the last time was in the late hours before and after the day rolled over whereas these matches are from mid-afternoon. Anyway, part of the new material I've got to report is that I have all the hidden stages and characters tied to number of matches played, and in all honesty the only way I could have had nearly enough to unlock them would be if online matches did in fact count for something...but I don't know if they'll register as being unlocked after an online match, since I just played three offline, got the first of them unlocked, and then just decided to stick around while the extra Rabbid types were being made available and the last of the stages unlocked. --- Match #1 -- Turtle Base Ninja Rabbid (Joou) vs. Leonardo (TMNT1) vs. Splinter Rabbid (TMNT2) Okay, so somebody else had a similar idea to mine and decided to take a Rabbid for a spin against all these incredibly serious-looking-and-sounding opponents. And of course, these wacky lapine invaders brought on board by the publisher ARE entirely out of place, and probably have more than their fair share of detractors who see them as several wasted character slots. I am positive that after the first round, he thought he was going to just completely have his way with me. 'Fraid not buddy. All it took was one bad round to overcome his style. I ordered this game recently, and it just came today. I've been playing it for a few hours now, and I must say it is very fun. The gameplay is great, and I'm really digging the music as well. I'd imagine playing alone might get a bit stale, so hopefully my friends and YouTube viewers will pick up the game for some Wi-Fi action. For now, this is the very first match I played in this game. Prior to this match, I only watched the intro video, which explained the controls, how to play, etc. I went into this match ONLY with that knowledge, so apologies in advance for the lack of variety with moves on my part. Of course, I HAD to play as my all-time favorite Turtle, Raphael; he's been my favorite ever since I was a kid. For the opponents, I just chose the other three Turtles. This was a really close match. They love their new basking area and large area to swim around. A few bullet points to go over the headset. -For those worrying about comfort, this headset is very comfortable. The earpads have a large oval shape, and go in quite deep. I find these more comfortable than HPX's and the X31's/X41's -The sound quality was surprisingly decent from what I was expecting. Footsteps in MW2 were clear, but still, the sound stage/3d positioning of the X11 won't match higher end headsets like the HPX. -This headset has numerous features and they work out quite well. The mic monitoring feature worked out nicely. It is at a level that you don't notice anything going into the mic until you actually speak. Sort of like it's noise canceling. The game and chat volume control also work easily and effective as a solution to balancing those 2 sounds. The microphone itself is very flexible and is heard loud and clear on xbox live. -One of the things to note is that because of the USB power, this headset is a pain to make usable at MLG events if you are in the Amateur bracket. Also makes listening to music very restricting. I didn't even bother listening to music on this honestly. This is strictly a gaming headset. The temp is just right, time to put my 4 indoor turtles outside and match em up with 2 older turtles that were already outside but in a much smaller habitat. **READ THIS** This is a guide on how to get the rare sea turtle mount. Things so note about this mount when farming it: -It can ONLY be fished from Cataclysm and Northrend POOLS. Any Burning Crusade or Classic pools or open water will not yield this mount. -It is a random drop, and so do not expect to get it within an hour or so, it will take some time (but it's well worth it!) -Highest level flying is strongly advised; it will decrease downtime between pools and therefore reduce the time it would take to get the mount. -If you have the Weather Beaten Journal and the art of finding fish, remember to use it at all times, and always check between the mini map and the actual game to spot the pools and make sure you don't miss any. -The turtle runs at normal movement speed, yet moves at a nice 60% swim speed, and even so, is great to show off whilst AFK in your major city. How to not get bored: -Blast out some music; don't sit in silence as this will make you get bored very quickly! -If you are getting bored in one spot, switch to another spot. Even though i have recommended these as the best spots, it doesn't mean you can't go anywhere else! Remember; all Cataclysm and Northrend level pools will yield the mount. -Talk to your friend whilst doing this. In game chat, skype, vent, whatever, talking to friends will help to not get bored.
