His singing style was remarkably influential, attractive and appealing to millions. Gene Austin's vocal sound became known as crooning (performing in a soft low voice) during his singing in the 20's and 30's. Some very successful imitators that followed...Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra and Russ Columbo. He was born Lemeul Eugene Lucas in Gainesville, Texas to parents Nova Lucas and Serena Belle Harrell but grew up in Louisiana. A blacksmith step-father, Jim Austin would enter his life and he would assume his surname. Gene worked with his step-dad as a teenager in his blacksmith shop becoming proficient in shoeing and handling horses. At 17, he enlisted in the army and was assigned to the cavalry serving in Mexico with the PanchoVilla Expedition which netted him the Mexican Service Medal. Before continuing with the arena fights (Triple Crown quest), I've stopped at Vulcania to buy three red tickets at the blacksmith and a red key at the locksmith. In Middlegate I've bought the green key (You'll need these keys to free the bishops of the black/red/yellow/green battle later). At the Desert of Desolation, I've placed a Lloyd's beacon at the great fountain. If your characters have all stats below 200, then the fountain will make the red and black ticket battles at lot more easier, specially if you have the disintegration spell at hand. Drink from the fountain, fight then teleport to the beacon, fight again. Rinse and repeat until you win three red ticket and three black ticket fights (At least one in each of the three arenas: Middlegate, Sansobar and Atlantium).. + Informações
