Punch Defense Series -- Low Punch to Abdominal Area Counter Situation: An attacker throws a low and strong punch to your stomach. Steps: 1. Pivot sideways moving your body out of the direct path of the punch allowing your body to move with the momentum of the punch. It is ok to take some impact, as long as you can continue to fully function and fight afterwards. 2. While pivoting, simultaneously, using your further arm to his body, guide his punching arm's wrist to your waist area. Trap his arm upon impact. Using the pivoting momentum strike powerfully with your forearm, quickly and ferociously above his elbow joint. 3. Pull his injured arm past you, bringing his whole body inwards, knee him in the groin or stomach while taking advantage of the added momentum. 4. He will be disoriented giving the opportunity to transition into an over-the-shoulder choke. 5. In order for this move to work it must be done quickly, powerfully, and correctly. Remember this move is for defensive purposes only. Here I show myself taking out the Crab Puncher (Wily Stage 2 boss) in Mega Man 10 in Hard Mode without getting hit and only using the Mega Buster. This is my first completion of a Hard Mode boss challenge in Mega Man 10, against a Wily Castle boss, no less. This boss requires luck and patience. If he punches with the bottom claw right out of the gate, I don't know how to dodge it, so I just restart if that happens. If he starts with his bubble attack, be sure to take out the claw first. It doesn't do any damage to his life meter, but it helps prevent future low-punch attacks. When he shoots his bubbles, just keep moving. What also helps is to put as much distance between you and him as you can. You can do this by just shooting his shell. No damage, but it will knock him back a bit, giving you more room to move around and dodge his bubbles.. + Informações

Took about 20 minutes out of training to film some light punch training for your guys. Wasn't really supposed to do arms again today because I did those yesterday, but oh well. Also had to stop myself from kicking a few times as well. My legs have a mind of their own sometimes. Note, this is punch training for various styles of kickboxing/MMA. This is not punch training for boxing. Since low kicks, knees, elbows and kicks are involved, the stances and techniques are different from boxing. Anyway, just some random repetition training, combo training, improvisation, etc. Also, I was using bulkier gloves than normal. They are wider 12 oz's.
