All the Goering's private films were considered allegedly destroyed when he ordered the SS to blow out his estate, Karinhall, with high explosive (because of the upcoming Russians), on April 20, 1945, before his departure to Berlin to partecipate at the Fuhrer's last birthday party. He knew he wouldn't be back to Karinhall no more... These fragments, totaling 7:40, have been filmed in Karinhall but also in Austria and in Chekoslovakia. Pretty awesome Finland in colour war pictures which I would like to share. Some of them are from the winter war of 1939 and the others are from the world war two. I don't have information about this photo's so if you know something about them then please tell! I only know something about the first 6 pic's. I've add Finnish or Suomi (which is Finnish for Finland) music. Songs; - Finnish Suomi SS Potpourri (that's a mix of different Finnish songs which you may know since they are 'stolen' from the Germans) - Suomi Marssi (sounds just like the Englandlied) - Div. SS Wiking - Asevoikka (Suomi) (sounds like ' mein guter Kamerad, ich hatt einen kameraden' ) I guess they also sing something that's pretty alike to what the Germans sing so that's why I've add the graveyard pictures there. Lost in time, I guess, since it's original airing in probably early 1963, finally found on 8mm film. It could be Jerry's guest copy he might got from NBC, since only his appearance has been edited to the reel. So thanks for keeping it alive, Jerry, for nearly 50 years. This clip has the most beautiful version of Johnny's Theme ever heard by my ears. Might be one of the oldest clips from the Tonight Show with Johnny besides the famous bit from his 13th week and a clip with Bob Hope also 1963 shown by Carnac231 a few years ago, stated as the earliest colour known segment.
