The first promo video for Bella Union's Lone Wolf. Made as a tribute to Peter Gabriel's seminal 1986 video 'Sledgehammer', Broken Pixel applied the same techniques as Aardman Animation used on the original production. Many scenes from the original are recreated, including the infamous Chicken Scene, plus lots of new ideas have been incorporated too. The video has been seen and enjoyed by both Peter Gabriel and many of the original animators at Aardman. its extraordinary to see the effort that has gone into this homage to one of the all time great pop videos, Sledgehammer. As Ashley himself says it was a pleasure to work alongside such amazing material, I have only realised after following your work frame by frame, quite how much detail and craft went into the making of Sledgehammer. The Lone Wolf Blackfoot is a superbly built and special EDC blade. At 3.8 ounces the little Blackfoot (formerly the Dark Raven) isn't the lightest blade out there for your daily carry... but you won't care. That's because within that carry weight you have a rock solid knife that features hardened steel liners, pivot hardware, and a cryogenically treated (!) CPM S30V steel blade. Expect razor sharpness edge out of the box, outstanding edge holding, good rust resistence, and toughness. The black titanium nitride coated, modified clip blade is handsome, has great belly, a strong tip, and is perfectly finished. It's flat ground from the upper flat area but still performs EDC tasks like food preparation admirably and it seems to slice better than it should. And yes jimping is present! The short jimping run on the spine actually is functional and gives added traction. In 2010, you will have two choice of scale materials: high traction G10 or checkered and handsomely finished Ebano wood scales. The Ebano is my favorite as it is slimmer and more radiused in the shoulders for even better ergonomics. The slim pocket clip is blackened, low profile, and holds tightly (and is devoid of any "Wizard of Oz" issues). The Blackfoot unfortunately forces tip down carry but at least it rides deep in the pocket for security. Deployment speed is lightning fast, a product of the phosphor bronze bushings and perfect balance (once again showing that an auto knife is unnecessary). About the only .... + Informações

This is one of your best options for an all-around mid-sized tactical folder. As of mid-2008 Lone Wolf T2 came in a variety of handle types including Cocobolo, FRN, and green/black Micarta (cool). The T2 is also offered in a sabre ground blade though I much prefer this drop point version. And its this version that gets just about everything right: great S30V steel, excellent 3.9" blade shape with full-flat grind, ergonomic, good stipling on FRN handle,strong and solid lockup, functional jimping, and a wicked fast and smooth deployment (bronze phosphor bushings). Also it's 4.2 oz weight is excellent for its size (although it could and should be improved by skeletonizing the liners). Moreover the T2 by Bill Harsey arrives razor sharp. About the only strike on this ballgame would be the overly large and pivot-mounted clip. It's definitely strong enough but should be reversible and much more streamlined (reference Benchmade designs). In the video I show the limited edition Desert Camo T2 (no you can't have it), the gorgeous Cocobolo wood, and standard FRN versions. This strong and fast tactical folder in terms of quality, design, speed, and strength can take on all comers. The LWD 9mm AR-15 takes Glock 33 rd mags in a dedicated, CNC-milled lower receiver. No spacer blocks here. With a modified bolt, this 7075 T6 carbine looks to be a wicked 9mm/.40/.357Sig shooter. Of course all the limitations of the PCCs still play. Arising out of an extensive CNC capability, this is a newer addition to Lone Wolf Distributors (LWD). Their guys take us on a booth tour of that gun and we also do flybys on some of the other stuff. I think the LWD Glock threaded barrels are about the best value out there. Now only if they could keep them in stock. Many other original manufacture parts for your Gloock come from the LWD shop as well to include their proprietary Timberwolf aluminum frame and internals.
