For around six decades Jimmy Saville has entertained so many people and touched so many lives. He was an eccentric with a heart that was humble. He simply did not think he was anything special but a single guy that was unusual. Jimmy seriously was the first DJ and was spotted in Machester with his trade mark twin turntables, bling and tracksuit. It was not long before he was on BBC Radio and then straight on to TV where he is best known apart from TOp Of The Pops as Jim'll Fix It. I was so jealous when a kid not only got to star alongside Colin Baker and Jannet Fielding who was Tegan. But also got a version of The Sixth Doctors Costume. He also got to press the buttons on the 5th and 6th DOctors Console. Savile maintained this benevolent persona beyond the screen, raising more than £40 million for charity over the decades. He just simply was a decent guy who never grew old. He still kept that boyish charm to his death.
