Mix using the loop recorder, sample decks & Fx presets. The loop recorder is used to duplicate a loop while dividing the original (adding a natural phaser effect) or allows to 'record' a manipulation of the sound with eq or FX so the whole segment can be played at will. I'm using a few samples in the sample decks: a short vocal loop, some 'tops', a 'downlifter' and a 'rise' sound effects. Lastly I'm calling Fxs presets using a twist of the embedded mapping while using the jog as main control for those presets. I'm working with 4 fx units but each pair of unit is considered as one only (as I'm using some FX combos using two units). A dedicated assign button engages the related pair of FX units for each deck. The second available Fx assign button as been remapped to give access to an instant delay. The colored faders were painted blue & white to match decks' color code with some acrylic paint but comes originally from Djs face like the orange knobs used on all D/W knobs. Saturday 3 October 2009, and a windy cool evening at Shaw & Crompton station on the very last day of trains, and the final fling for steam, on the Oldham loop line. A large crowd of local people had gathered in the fading light to see 1Z29, the last ever steam special on the Oldham line, pass through Shaw from Rochdale to Manchester. This was part of "The Witch Way" railtour arranged by Spitfire Railtours. It was 19.03 (booked 18.52/ 53) when the train arrived hauled by Black 5, 45231 "The Sherwood Forester" - and it was almost dark. It caused quite a bit of excitement at Beal Lane level crossing next to the signal box and station. This level crossing will now be dismantled and the railway line fenced off from the road. The two signalboxes on the line, at Shaw and Oldham, will shortly be demolished. Prior to the special making a second trip round the line - this time diesel hauled, a couple of Northern service trains are seen here stopping at Shaw in the dark, with less than four hours before closure. The evening scheduled services were operated by two 156 sets, 156428 (single) and 156441 + 156466 (double - which worked the very last service from Victoria). The special returned at 20.21 (booked 20.08/ 09) as 1Z31 hauled by WCRC's heritage class 37 diesel loco - 37706, and travelling this time from Manchester to Rochdale. This was the very last loco hauled train to run on the line. The end of an era and a fond and sad farewell to the Oldham loop line, and the last chance .... + Informações

today was the scheduled movement of the visitors for the nene valley railway's diesel gala and i went straight up to see it in the formation was 47826 (WCRC vomit providing the haulage) 31128, D182 (46045) and 20048 the 47 is planned to stay at wansford for the weekend on display but the others will join the home fleet of D9516, D9523, 31108 & D306 also in attendance is a GBRF class 66 which will work 2 trains each day and will arrive saturday morning off the mainline and leave on sunday evening to the mainline. + Informações
