After the announcement of Primus' hiatus, Claypool formed Les Claypool's Fearless Flying Frog Brigade, an experimental ensemble in the vein of The Mothers of Invention. The band debuted at the New Orleans Jazz Festival and played a number of other festivals including moe.down. When Primus officially disbanded it allowed him to return to his musical roots, playing songs by bands like Pink Floyd, King Crimson, and the Beatles. Claypool has called the Frog Brigade his "mid-life crisis band." In addition to two live albums (one being an exact cover of Pink Floyd's Animals), the Frog Brigade has released one studio album, 2002's Purple Onion.. + Informações

Hello all. Well my bass is currently at school so that is my reason for not having any videos posted lately. I do however, have a fixed whamola (you can check my video favorites for the last time I played the whamola at a christmas party where it broke). Here's the song whamola. It's a pretty hard song to cover with the whamola since you can't really get the same sound and intonation as there really aren't any "notes" to play. It's just "try to get the same pitch as Les" which doesn't always work. And the solo was just me messing around, I don't know what Les does exactly.
