Lemur Voice recorded its high quality progressive metal album Insights in Holland, which is also the home base for this exciting new band. Having been known as "Aura" for several years, the name, Lemur Voice, was selected to avoid confusion with other bands. But no confusion exists when it comes to recognizing a mature band with highly developed writing and performing skills. First class performances from vocalist Gregoor van der Loo and guitarist Marcel Coenen allow Lemur Voice to produce a highly sophisticated and rich sounding album. Nathan van de Wouw whose ability on the drums is obvious in leading the band through its complex arrangements. Nathan is also responsible for writing the thoughtful lyrics Lemur Voice features throughout their debut recording. Barend Tromp plays rock solid, melodic bass lines while Franck Faber contributes lush keyboard textures. Lyrics: Gusts of color, senses of energy enter the realm of intuition. Ok, here it is, I got a lot of requests lately from people if I could upload some video's of my former band Lemur Voice. This particular video is recorded in October 1998 in a small bar in the south of the Netherlands during a gig with my previous band Lemur Voice. The song is called "Solilocide" and you can find it at the second album "Divided". have fun !. + Informações

Lemur Voice video from 1995 when the band was still called "Aura". This was before the first album came out on Magna carta records. The song is called "More Of Nothing" and can be found on the first album "Insights" released in 1996. The video is shot during a gig in Geleen (south of the Netherlands). It was the first big gig for the band (approx 1500 people). + Informações

Lemur Voice played in France to promote their first album "Insights" in 1997. The band was invited to play at a Dream Theater convention in Lyon, France, so Lemur Voice decided to study a medley of well known Dream Theater songs and play this as the reprise at this convention. I am sorry for the bad quality, it comes form a videotape and the tape is bad, plus the camera it is recorded with had only mono sound and the bass distorted really bad. Nevertheless it is a fun video to watch. The songs covered in this video are The Mirror, Take The Time, Lie, Erotomania, 6:00, The Ytse jam, Voices, Metropolis Part One, Learning To Live, Under A Glass Moon and the ending of Innocence Faded. This is my bass cover for the song "Akasha Chronicles" from the dutch band Lemur Voice. It was recorded with my Ibanez BTB bass through a Line 6 UX1 interface and edited with Adobe Audition. The video was edited using Final Cut. This is mi first audio editing so I hope you like it. Special thanks to Daniel Cordero and Sebastian Rivera for all the help in the publishing of this video.
