Legend of Mana is the fourth game in the Mana series. While incorporating elements from the three games which preceded it, Legend of Mana has its own distinct style of gameplay. There's a way to get a Chocobo instead of a Rabbite for your first pet. It's shown at the begining of this video. You must HIGHLIGHT a FF8 save file before starting the quest. It must be FF8, not FF7 or FF9. When you go to catch it the egg will have wings instead of normal beast feet. I show the pet after it has hatched at the end of the video, and yes I know that part is off sync. My emulator was on idle for awhile and it caused my recorder to off sync the sound.
