Today I finish off building my new 100% automatic chicken farm. Apologies for the jumpy video in this one, had about 100 chickens laying eggs for most of the time I was recording. If anyone wants an in-depth tutorial on how to build this, do let me know. Never seen anyone else build anything like this before, which is kinda surprising as it's not really a difficult build at all (took me about 3 hours or so to knock it together in vanilla; it actually took longer to collect enough eggs to fill it than it did to build!). + Informações

Here's a vid coming back from my Christmas visit in my hometown. Just Minecraft of course. Yes my skin is Goku, it's originally an Anonymous skin that I edited myself (just used the suit) but I decided to change it because the green is too dark and I'm too lazy to make the green lighter. Sorry for the sudden burst in music, as well as the lag and the echo effect the music which makes it sound even worse than the songs were. My lazy chickens~ Finally one of them laid a king sized egg today. It's been awhile since I've gotten any eggs from them. I'm not sure if they are eating their own eggs? Or.. What ever is digging into the coup, most likely rats..ewwww!!!!!!! The girls used to love eating worms too. I built this chicken coop for the really lazy farmer (ie. Me). It uses a photo cell to tell the timer modules if its night or day outside, and also has a thermostat which can bypass the timer based light, heat & venting systems. Two lamp sockets are independently controlled and can use infra-red, black light heat bulbs and/or standard incandescent or CFL. The automatic coop door has an independant time delay that allows the door to open/close earlier or later then dusk/dawn. Likewise, the automatic run door has the same type of feature. Every feature has a manual override and in the event of a power failure the coop locks down (although rare, power failures in our location tend to be at night time and I'd rather the doors close on failure rather then open). Now I just need to develop a early warning system for hawks :). + Informações
