Part 1 of my Len Tsukimori character arc. How do you solve a problem like Len? He projects a conceited persona to his peers and demands perfection not only to himself but also to other concours participants especially Hino Kahoko. Although he is already a highly skilled violinist, he still considers himself as inferior when complemented alongside with his parents. Among the male students in Seiso Academy, Azuma Yunoki is the most popular among the girls -- good-looking, intelligent, amiable, well-mannered. Boys envy him because of the attention he gets from the female crowd (his "fans" sometimes offer him food at lunchtime!). However, underneath that façade and despite his family's high social standing, he has a sad and lonely existence caused by the restrictions and family obligations imposed on him by his grandmother. This beautiful but melancholic piece reflects the inner struggles he has to endure while continuing to lead, on what he considers, "his boring life".
