Kurt Elling is an American jazz vocalist - a baritone with a four-octave range - a composer, lyricist and vocalese performer (the art of writing and performing words over improvised jazz solos). In 2007, Elling's lyrics were published in a book by Circumstantial Productions and in 2010 he got his first Grammy award. Klüvers Big Band is a Danish big band. It was formed in 1977 by a group of young music students under the leadership of Jens Klüver. Since then the orchestra has worked with a long line of international and Danish soloists.
