A compilation of all of the Illusionary World scenes from the Clannad anime series. This video holds the Japanese audio. The purpose of this video: Fans of Clannad have complained that the Illusionary World story is confusing and they generally ignore it until it becomes relevant for the ending. This video's purpose is to put all of the scenes together and hopefully make the story easier to understand for those who initially dismissed it. A few things to note: Around 11 minutes into the video, the subtitles will change a little because this compilation uses two different sources. Also, one small scene at the end of After Story's first episode is deliberately missed because it lasts only about 15 seconds and it has no speaking. Finally, Nagisa's play at the end of the first season is included here because it would be awkward to start the Illusionary World scene from that episode since the music starts when Nagisa's play begins. What's this? SPAZZEH'S DONE A DUB IN ENGLISH? WITH HER OWN LYRICS TOO? DEAR GOD, PREPARE FOR THE APOCALYPSE. -SHOT- Anyways. XD Well, for a while now, I've wanted to get better at lyric writing/writing in general as well as do some English fandubs [with English being my native language and all XD;] and I've done some lyrics for the song Mou Sukoshi as well as a very bad attempt back in 8th grade for the song Harmonia by RYTHEM. XD So, I've noticed that quite a few people have done English dubs of this song, and as I was listening, I noticed how good this song really sounds in English. (By that I mean, some Japanese songs just don't sound great in English, for whatever reason. XD Look up the translation for the song Kusari by Akiko Kawakami, from Disgaea. Something about it, to me, would just sound off in English XD -SMACKED-) But this one really transfers over quite nicely. And I was really inspired by a number of the ones I saw, particularly callmecaelestis [?] and a couple others. Keep in mind, this is only my 2nd or 3rd really serious attempt at writing English lyrics, so please forgive me, I know that they're not perfect, but I'd rather not have them critiqued at the moment XD;; And although I have a sing-along in the video, I'll post the lyrics here too.
