This short teaser was produced from early art scans and introduces "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath", a 100-minute animated movie based on the novel by HP Lovecraft. The animation is fairly simple in the movie (although better than the teaser), mostly because we knew going in that we weren't making "Final Fantasy," just focusing on having a great time making a fun movie. Payne's Grey were a very talented and unlucky german prog metal band.They released only two albums: a mini cd called infinity in 1991 (re-released in 2000) and kadath decoded in 1995.Kadath decoded is a concept album based off on the dream quest of unknown kadath by hp lovecraft.The album is outstanding and capture the mood and the atmosphere of the lovecraftian's writings very well.The album is perfectly balanced and very original,sometimes it reminds me some early shadow gallery (there is even a flute player here). The story is so nearly a poem that it took minimal work to make these iambic pentameters: my homage to a wonderful American author.
